This section gives a little bit of information about how our group works. We are a bit different from other doujin groups outside of Japan, but if you are interested in joining us, read below!

While our artists don't make much money, it is a great way to produce work available to the public. The cool thing is that MANGACANDY pays for all of the printing costs for MANGACANDY comics. We are a great way for amateur artists who believe they are ready to produce comics to take their first step out into the world. The comics printed through our group are exclusively printed through us, but we have artists who produce other comics for multiple groups or themselves at the same time. We are not currently actively looking for new members, but we always have interest in people who are ready to print comics, programmers, music people, etc. If you think you might have what it takes, it doesn't hurt to send us an e-mail! Please e-mail Angela at mangacandy[@]gmail.com and propose your interests! Or use the form below. When you do, it helps a lot to send some color illustration, inked work, paneling, and/or sample comics! BTW, you don't have to be in the United States to be in our group, but you need to be at least 16. |
