About MANGACANDY, LLC.

The site, Mangacandy.com, was originally a website that was created primarily for showing friends drawings and doodles I had drawn back in middle and high school. Although there were other forms of this site, Mangacandy's official birth was on August 7, 2001. Since then, the idea of making an amateur drawing group with friends interested in manga and comics had slowly began to take shape.

In 2004, a group called Kurotenshi [Black Angel] was formed. The group consisted of myself and a few friends bent on making some hand printed comics. We managed to make a small sample project on January 2006.

Eager to do more, MANGACANDY, LLC. was officially formed on April 21, 2006. We are now a small group that produces original stories drawn by amateur artists that are influenced by Japanese-styled comics. We try to be a stepping stone for both new and established artists and friends.

Our goal is to provide interesting amateur comics and manga to the masses. We want to be a way for budding artists to reach readers who would otherwise never have a chance to read them. Although the styles and types of stories are very different, each comic is full of the artist's dedication and hopes. We are a small group, but we hope that our dreams and ideals will help spawn other aspiring artists to do great things!!
